The attribution of uncontrollable aspects has always been core to Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch’s practice and philosophy. He believes coincidences can shape certain occurrences and examines history from various viewpoints. The periphery between reality and the surreal is presented through a subtle sense of humor and irony, resulting in a fascinating beauty created from layers of perception. Supanichvoraparch is a multidisciplinary artist and third-generation owner of Tao Hong Tai Ceramic Factory. He earned a Master’s Degree in Fine Art (Ceramic) at Universitaet Gesamthochschule Kassel, Germany. He founded “d Kunst art center” and “Art Normal,” Ratchaburi’s first public art festival, linking art with community engagement. Supanichvoraparch has exhibited in leading galleries and museums in Germany, the UK, Belgium, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand, and participated in the 55th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (2013), the 3rd Jakarta Contemporary Ceramics Biennale (2014), and the 2nd Bangkok Art Biennale (2020). His works are held in private and public collections worldwide.
