Torlarp Larpjaroensook is a contemporary Thai artist who works with sculpture, installation, and mobile architecture. He often uses everyday objects that people encounter in their lives, presenting them in new contexts that invite interaction between the artwork and the audience. His practice reveals the poetic qualities hidden within ordinary materials. His works have been exhibited widely in Thailand and abroad, and are part of collections at the Singapore Art Museum and MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum. Selected exhibitions include Bookshelf (Singapore Art Museum, 2011); In Progress (Richard Koh Fine Art Gallery, Singapore, 2012); and Bangkok Art Biennale (2018). In addition to his practice as an artist, Larpjaroensook founded Gallery Seescape in Chiang Mai. He continues to live and work in Chiang Mai, developing new projects and running the gallery.
